Capturing life's precious moments through photography is a beautiful way to preserve them for eternity. However, sometimes these moments take place so slowly that we fail to fully appreciate them. It is truly remarkable to witness these phenomena unfold right before our very eyes.

In the past few years, time has seemed to move differently, and this inspired me to create a captivating seven-minute time-lapse movie that captures this very essence. Utilizing over 10,000 photographs, I was able to capture the Geminid and Perseid meteor showers in Val di Fassa, Trento, Italy.

Filming during the cold winter season in the Dolomites, where temperatures dropped to as low as -15°C to -17°C, I was able to capture the beauty of the meteor shower scenes at a rate of 9 FPS frames per second, providing viewers with an immersive experience. Together, let us embark on a journey to the celestial heavens and witness the magic of shooting stars. This is an unforgettable experience that will undoubtedly leave you in awe.

This movie has won awards at two international film festivals: the Finisterra Arrábida Film Art & Tourism Festival in Portugal and the Barcelona Planet Film Festival. Additionally, it has been selected for two other international festivals: the Finisterra Brazil Film Art & Tourism Festival and the Lookout Wild Film Festival.
