💡 Beginning
The idea for this timelapse short film originated when I shot a 15-second timelapse video of a Rubik's Cube in Bologna, Italy, in 2022. Ever since the concept of blending the dance element into the time-lapse has been floating around my head, it has taken me 1 year to get a clear picture of my idea. After getting a clear picture of the concept, the next step was to select the location, actress, and musician.
📝Synopsis:
From the dawn of existence to the twilight of life, humans are woven into the intricate tapestry of emotions. At the beginning of life, emotions paint bold strokes, vivid and easily noticeable. Yet, as life unfolds, our emotional landscape evolves into a symphony of difficulties with nuances that defy simple definitions.
As we age, an uncharted realm of emotions takes root, often silenced and overlooked. This cinematic odyssey, presented in "Symphony of Italia", explores the unexpressed and neglected emotions that thrive in the shadows of our journey.
This film embarks on a mesmerizing Timelapse expedition, weaving together the artistry of stop motion and the precision of holy grail Timelapse. Each frame is meticulously calculated to capture the ebb and flow of emotions, creating a visual ballet between the sun's descent and the delicate dance steps of life.
Through this lens, the audience is invited to witness the metamorphosis of emotions – from the simplicity of sunset to the complexity of twilight, reflecting the evolving symphony accompanying the dance experience. "Symphony of Italia" paints emotions not just in colours but in the hues of time itself, making the invisible dance of feelings tangible and resonant with every heartbeat.
